I love to read.
Ever since I was a little kid, books & magazines have been my happy place. I reckon this passion comes from my insatiable and sometimes dangerous curiosity, because I always want to know everything.
I first fell in love with reading when I didn’t even know how to read: I was 5 and still in kindergarden, but my aunt thought I would enjoy the Barbie Magazine (a huuuge hit among 80’s girls) if only because I could watch the pretty pictures of the dolls. From the first moment I had it in my hands, I LOVED IT. But, as you can imagine, I wanted more. I wanted to actually know what was going on there.
So, in the summer of 1986, I asked my aunt to teach me how to read. And it was truly like opening the door to Wonderland.
So for this week’s Freebie Friday, I wanted to share my love for reading and designed a set of four handy bookmarks for you to print. Use cardstock so they’re firmer and slip them through the pages of your favourite book. Where will it take you? Enjoy your journey!!! 😉
